RIDER INFO

Prior to loading up to get here please check our home page and Instagram or Facebook for any last minute updates such as weather status or cancellations.

When you get here you will stop at our entrance gate and sign our waivers prior to parking in the facility. If you are a first-timer one of our Baja Acres staff members will help guide you through step by step. Just park your vehicle and come into our registration / Black Baja Acres Building located in the center of the facility. Once there you will be asked which ability group you would like to practice with. Then you will get a wristband, this allows you to enter the track.

Dirt bikes only. 

MAIN TRACK ability groups

: PRO / A / B

: C / Beginner
: 65cc / 85cc 

• Typically split into 3 separate groups: Each group will rotate every 15-20 minutes
• Recommended Tire - Dunlop MX12

JR. TRACK is for all 50cc's, some 65cc riders and 50-110cc Pitbikes. Generally any beginner rider on a 65cc will start on our junior track and once their confidence is built they will then move up to the main track. In the event there are too many riders at one time we will break the group up into 15-20 minute sessions based upon rider ability. Training wheels are not allowed on the track. ( all riders are required a Open ride wristband which can be purchased at Registration building)

SAFETY FIRST

 BAJA ACRES has flagging staff and or safety lights also a State licensed medical staff at all Open Rides and Races. 

PIT RIDING 

IS NOT ALLOWED. WHEN RIDING YOUR BIKE TO PRACTICE GATE AND TO YOUR PIT USE DIRT ROADS / DO NOT RIDE ON THE GRASS.

Open Ride Pricing:

Admission: $5.00 per person
Riding: $40.00 per rider for the main track
$25.00 per rider for the junior track

US Funds only. We do not accept Canadian funds.

**** MINOR RELEASE forms must be signed by both parents. Form can be printed off and filled out prior to coming to the track. THIS IS FOR BAJA ACRES ONLY. Click link below for minor release form.

Please note that all riders under the age of 18 years old MUST be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. In the event that a Parent or Legal Guardian can not attend you will need to provide us a NOTARIZED Permission Slip giving guardianship to someone over the age of 18 years old for that day only.

THIS PERMISSION SLIP MUST BE NOTARIZED
If your child has a permission slip and is NOT notarized - They will not be allowed to ride
NO EXCEPTIONS.

• NO PIT RIDING - only ride bike in 1st gear from your pit to the track using the pit roads. 
• NO RIDING IN PARKING LOT / GRASS AREAS !
• REQUIRED GEAR- helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, long sleeve shirt, long pants.
• ALL RIDERS MUST ENTER AND EXIT AT PRACTICE GATE
• ON TRACK- Do not cut the track, all must ride the marked out track, No free riding.
• NO jumping or passing on yellow flag/light or medical flag.
• Exit track on RED flashing light/ RED flag.
• Facility gate is closed 1 hour after Open Ride.

To enter track- all must go to registration building to request track access / sign waiver / then you will be issued a media vest for track access. 

• Pits/campground is primitive. 
• Porta potty restrooms.
• Powerwash non potable water available for barrel filling.
• Please use oil recycling barrels available on site for your oil changes. DO NOT dump oils on ground.
• RESERVED sites available with 30 amp power and fresh water. call for details.
• Please clean your pit site before you leave. 

• Spectators and leashed nice pets are welcome, clean up after.  
• Spectators are not allowed on the track.
• Please do not pollute.
