Welcome

MIDEAST YOUTH REGIONAL

SAFE T0 RACE

The Safe-to-Race Task Force has completed its assignment. Baja Acres will activate the Plan and Best Practices Toolkit that is considered thorough and satisfactory for implementation with coordination of overnight motocross events by the local Health Department. It was the mission of the Task Force to develop best practices for our industry that focused on the health and safety of riders, families and staff in a post-COVID-19 society.  Admission and registration processes will follow strict social distancing and hygiene guidelines, as recommended by this Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Admission Process: • Upon entry, guests will be greeted by staff wearing PPE and will be given an information sheet setting forth the rules for the weekend, including social distancing guidelines, safe  hygiene practices, and liability release terms and conditions. Please bring your own pen for all signature purposes. • Each vehicle will be given a garbage bag. We ask you contain your own trash and dispose of it in our dumpster at the front gate on your way home. Thanks in advance for pitching in.

RECOMMENDATIONS

We’re glad you’re here! Your health and safety remain important to us. Here are some things you need to know during your visit: • Practice social distancing – stand 6’ apart • Wear facemasks when closer than 6’ of others • Use our hand sanitizer and handwashing stations often  • If you are sick, please go home. You should not be here • If you start to feel sick, go home and call you doctor • If you are considered ‘high risk’, go home and visit us when it’s safe to do so • When not on track, please remain in your pit area. • Don’t roam or visit your neighbors. Use your phone for that • “Leave No Trace” – Take your trash home with you • Campfires are prohibited under the circumstances • Don’t touch your face .
