It’s best to arrive on Thursday or Friday to get some some practice on the Baja track that has NEW track changes to keep the local honest. Friday is practice day and race sign up, You can also sign up Saturday morning. After practice is the World Goon Riding competition by MotoPlayground Magazine, its funny, winner gets the 7′ atrocity badazzeled trophy.  Saturday starts 1st motos (remember you can race up to 3 classes) Freestyle motocross during the day expect to see some sick backflips. Taco Bell skate board highest ollie contest $500 bucks to win. Then the Pitbike championship with a flat screen HDTV for the grand winner. This race is mixed in with the FIST PUMP party, kinda rad. Sunday 2nd motos then the GC OPEN returns, “thats the Golf Cart Open folks” Golf carts and side by sides like razors etc race the lower sections of the main track for a chance to win the Big ass Party cooler. Then wake skaters and wake boarders have their finals at the Pond Palooza follwed by the “all hail the BMX freestyle Redbull POND JUMP lets see who will walk away with $1000 cash and dethrone 5 time champ Timmy Carpenter. Then comes the Konvict records hip hop concert with Qwes Cross coming from LA and first time live with his hits is Honda / Redbull rider B-Mayzee aka Brandon Mays from New York. Monday is final motos and $ 100 holeshots……….Don’t forget all weekend long the 200′ COBRA slip n slide will be open. The Otsego Club is bringing their skateboard bowl so bring your board. And public demos for wake skating and wake boarding.  Lots of cool prizes and sound activated digital event shirts.   and more!!

Millington, MI – 2-time X Games Gold Medalist Chris Ridgway successfully defended his title as Limb-Loss Motocross Champion during the 5^th annual Extremity Games (eX5) at Baja Acres motocross facility in Millington, Michigan last weekend.

Last Memorial Day weekend, Chris won his 4^thconsecutive Gold Medal at the Extremity Games Motocross event.  The win did not come easy as “Ridge” banged bars with familiar eX5 competitors like professional snocross racer “Monster” Mike Schultz and X Games Silver Medalist Jim Wazny.  Also, new to the Extremity Games roster, West-Coast racers Todd Thompson and Beau Meier finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively.

“Extremity Games has seen amazing growth over the last 5 years”, says eX5 Executive Director Beth Taylor.  “We’ve reached so many people to get to the point where we are -we are very blessed to have everyone here.”

In partnership with Adaptive Action Sports, Extremity Games also serves as a qualifier for the Moto X, Super X Adaptive races at the ESPN® Summer X Games 16. Newcomer Todd Thompson won the X Games qualifier in the Limb-Loss class while South African favorite Sampie Erasmus won both the X Games Qualifier and the eX5 Gold in the Limb-Difference classes.  The Super X Adaptive Finals will be televised live on ESPN in late July/early August.

Motocross legend Doug Henry was also in attendance at eX5 to support the athletes and sign autographs with his fellow adaptive competitors.  Doug has been riding and racing in Adaptive Action Sports events since a crash that left him paralyzed in 2007, which he is currently recovering from.

“I enjoy seeing the kids [and] how eager they are to go racing”, says Doug.  “There’s a good family atmosphere here and I’m just glad I came to be a part of it.”
