  • 10am - 5pm: Freestyle Pond Jump Sign-Up. You must be signed-up to practice. Ages 13 and Up
  • 12pm - 6pm: Practice.
  • 4pm - 6pm: Goon Rider Sign-Up. $10 sign-up fee per rider.
  • 4pm - 10pm: Pre race day sign-up. $50 per class LAST 6 DIGITS OF FRAME #s REQUIRED
  • 4pm - 8pm: Best whip contest sign-up. $10 sign-up fee per rider.
  • 5pm - 7pm: Freestyle Pond Jump Practice.
  • 7pm - 8pm: World Goon Rider Competition Sponsored by Motoplayground.
  • 9pm - 10pm: Best whip contest.
  • 7am - 8:15am: Sign-Up $50 per class. Frame #s required. Day 1 of 3; start of a 3 moto format run over 3 days.
  • 7:45am: Mandatory riders meeting @ the starting gate.
  • 8:30am: Racing Begins. Each Class will receive 1 hot lap prior to their race. (Note: Not all riders will get 3 motos if a qualifier race is needed)
  • 10am - Noon: Wake Skate / Wakeboard Pro Practice
  • 12pm - 6pm: Slip N Slide. Sponsored by Cobra. NO jeans, shoes, buttons, zippers or jewelry.
  • 1pm - 3pm/4pm - 6pm: Wake Skate/Wakeboard Public Demo
  • 2pm - 6pm: Pit bike race sign-up
  • BAJA Pit Bike Championship races: 7:30pm bike inspection/riders meeting. 8pm practice with racing to follow. Award presentation to follow races. $25 sign-up fee per class. AMA Memberships are required to participate.
  • 8:15pm - 9:45pm: 811 Party with DJ Cora. Special guest BMayzee performing his new album release.
  • Speed TV presents the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross from Steel City on the jumbo screen following the pit bike races.

811 Pro-AM Race is added to the race order for Sunday & Monday. 2 moto format. 250 A Pro Sport & Open A Pro Sport. Sign up is $60 per class. $5,000 purse distributed to the OVERALL top 10 in each class. Payouts per class will be: 1st - $650, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $350, 4th - $300, 5th - $200, 6th - $150, 7th - $125, 8th - $100, 9th - $75, 10th - $50.

  • 8:30am: PRO AM Practice, racing continues. Each Class will receive 1 hot lap prior to their race. Racing ends at 6pm.

  • 2pm - 5pm: Golf Cart Open Sign-Up
  • 6:15pm: Golf Cart Open. All classes will run the modified 50 main track. Classes: Golf Cart & Side by Side. Side by Side's must have working seat belts & roll bar. No crazy engine mods please. Suspension mods are allowed. All GC's must have OEM frames. All drivers must be 16 years of age or older and have a navigator (passenger). $25 sign-up fee per team. Prizes- Big Ass Party Cooler filled with everything. Sponsored by Championship Power Sports and Illusive Golf Carts.
  • POND PALOOZA (8am - 6pm): Pond Jump & Belly Floppers Registration at Racer Registration. OR (7pm - 8pm): Pond Jump & Belly Floppers Registration at the ramp.
  • 10am - Noon: Wake Skate / Wake Board Pro Practice
  • 1pm - 2pm: Wake Skate / Wake Board Public Demo
  • 3pm - 4pm: Qualifiers / WAKE – Intermediate, Advanced, PRO / WAKE SKATE open
  • 7:30pm: Wake Skate & Wake Board FINALS
  • 8:15pm: Freestyle Pond Jump Qualifiers
  • Wake Skate & Wake Board Prizes: 1st-$500,2nd-$200 3rd-$100
  • 8:45pm- Belly flop Contest "Flop your keg win a keg" Sponsored by Budweiser (must be 21 or older to enter)
  • 9:00pm- Freestyle Pond Jump Finals
  • Pond Jump Prizes: 1st -$500, 2nd- $300, 3rd - $200, BEST TRICK - TBD. Celebrity Judges: TBA
  • AFTER PARTY: CONCERT with "The DIRECTIVE" following Pond Palooza Awards.
  • Final race moto's. Racing continues. Each Class will receive 1 hot lap prior to their race. Day 3 of 3
  • $100 holeshot awards will be awarded for the 3rd moto in the following classes. TBA. ONLY: A MINIMUM OF 10 RIDERS IS REQUIRED PER CLASS TO QUALIFY FOR HOLESHOT AWARDS
  • 12pm - 6pm: Monster Energy Awards Presentation with Monster Trophy Girls

2012 Baja Brawl Transponder Information

All racers must use a Mylaps Transponder. 

Mylaps Transponders are the same transponders that were used for the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Program so if you have purchased one this year you will be able to use it again.  If you do not own one and would like to purchase a Mylaps Transponder you can go online and purchase one at mxtransponder.com.  You MUST do this in advance ONLINE Only. 

If you do not own a Transponder by the event you MUST rent one here at the track.  The cost for the rental will be $25.00 plus a $100.00 security deposit.  The $100.00 security deposit may be paid with cash or a credit card and the $25.00 rental fee is CASH ONLY. 

You MUST have a Transponder by Saturday morning prior to your first moto.  This transponder will be used for all three motos…all three days.  The rental fee you are paying is for the use for all three days of racing. 

We will only be using Transponders for racing on the Main Track.  All junior track classes…including pit bike races, etc. will be scored manually and not require you to rent or purchase a transponder.

Racers with a transponder will be able to print lap times, view them online or have them sent via text to a cell phone.
