REGIONAL thoughts….The Loretta Lynn’s Mid East Regional to some was considered a comparison to the final 4 in basketball. Riders with a final shot to make it to the big show in Tennessee. The out of state riders were not used to riding a national caliber track that had sand which made the course change per lap. It was awesome competition. The track changed more than usual because of aggressive tires and the talent. Kong had ruts in the face that was weird. One epic and never ending battle was from the vet class- John Grewe and Matt Crown were banging bars and only a bike length apart for most of there races.
