Freeze X Fest Ice Race Grand Championships review.First and foremost I would like to thank those who attended the event. It is our goal to get the athletes and the sports at the FXF recognized at National and local levels as it deserves. For those who raced and attended on Saturday we had 4,000 in attendance a phenomenal start for the weekend. The event was a success even tho considered a partial event based upon cancelling the remaining events on Sunday due to weather conditions that are uncontrollable. All event logistics were in place prior to the event such as an icy pit area but sections melted days before and temperatures did not cooperate for re-icing. We wish we had a crystal ball to make outdoor events perfect but as outdoorsman we all need to be prepared of what may come. Thank you for the comments good or bad and we will continue to try our dam-dest to please everyone if thats possible. Ice racing has been left in the shadows of the action sports scene and finally we have a premier venue to showcase the athletes and how awesome ice racing is not to mention helping the sport grow which it needs. Since the sport of ice racing has basically a two month sport thus warranting little or no support from the motor sport industries we are trying to change that with the AMA and the network of Baja Acres, so we are starting momentum. Check out the event photos their awesome. http://airtime70.smugmug.com/Motocross/MX2010
