Lets talk about this Grand Prix coming up. Years back when there was fewer race classes Baja hosted a Grand Prix race which was typically in late October. The race was like a 45 minute moto on a extended track. This event attracted hard core racers and allot of old school riders. As years passed and motocross growing with jumps and additional race classes this event slowly went off the Baja calendar. For years many riders have been asking when is Baja going to bring back the Grand Prix race and I replied ” dude there is too many classes, not enough daylight, or hardcore riders like it used to be.” So I met this guy Jason Biber who kind of bugged me about having a race at his ski resort.

Well I finally went to check this place out last year and this place is killer. We decided to build this 3 mile track through these Michigan mountains to accommodate allot of riders and create features to attract all different kinds of riders. Some of the features of the Otsego Club I like is the fire pits outdoor and indoor.  The landscape will be in full autumn bloom – a spectacular view. A cool place to bring the ladies. This guy Kurt who plays unplugged music is really plugged in plays some Zeppelin tunes that are like “that’s cool”. The Exit 282 Band Jams all kinds of rock old and new.

This Big Wheel Bomb race is nuts a 200′ down hill bomb on original Playschool Big wheels for $500 bucks, sketchy, some one or more will wad up for sure. I am also digging the water balloon bombing. Check this out, we are going to have slow moving live targets ( flaggers ) play musical chairs at the bottom of this bluff and we/you get to bomb them with water balloons isn’t that awesome. All proceeds go to 381 Justin Weeks. I’m a little wacked some say but sounds like fun. I’m going to start cutting in the track this week. Check out the Tuesday article in Racer X and the video. If you enjoyed the Brawl well you got to check this race out. Thanks for reading.
